Tonight we gathered in our Costume finery and headed out for some candy collection. Cam was decked out as Sir Peter Wolfsbane from Narnia

Grace was a most adorable Winnie the Pooh:

And...my dorky husband got into the action. Can you guess who he is?

Here's a hint if you are stuck.
So armed with collection buckets (Grace with a pumpkin, Cam with a Batman), some glow sticks & a flashlight (safety is key!) off we went with the wagon in tow.
Grace was a little hesitant at the first house, not quite sure what we were doing. Then they gave her smarties. The next house...cheesies. By then she'd caught on to the game and was running along with Cam to knock on the next door. Eventually though, her little legs grew tired and she discovered that having Daddy carry her door to door worked very well too. Finally she lost all interest in knocking and got into the goodies:

Cam, meanwhile, was no where near done for the night:

Note the sugar-fueled crazy look in his eye.
Finally I pleaded sore feet and back pain, and convinced Cam that we'd do just a few more, then to home we go. He agreed, but only because he needed to pee.
Grace meanwhile, had just given up altogehter:

And now, my goblins are tucked away in dreamy-dream land...and I am parking my tired arse in front of the TV and enjoying a treat or 4 (Hey, I did just as much legwork, I deserve my cut).
Happy Hallowe'en everybody!

That last picture is classic! You have to show that at her wedding one day!
Grace looks like she's passed out after too much time in the honey jar.
Great costumes!
