Devin tagged with me with a relationship themed meme. It's different from other memes so I'll bite.

1. Where did you meet?
Near the block area. I was helping some kids tidy up and he walked into the daycare centre to pick up Cameron. Oh yeah...I was Cam's daycare teacher once upon a time ;)

2. How long did you date?
Hmmm...we started seeing one another in February, I moved in the beginning of August...and I think we might have gone on an actual date (meaning out of the house) in August too. Not easy to date someone who has a kid and no babysitter. By October I'd put a stop to that and introduced the concept of "sending the kiddo to Nana-and-Grampy Land" (I love my parents!)

3. How old is he?
He's 33, soon to be 34. I'm almost *mumbles*. But I'm younger!

4. Who eats more?
He does. I eat more junk food though.

5. Who said “I love you” first?
I think it was him. It's a long story...we were putting Cam to bed and Phil asked Cam if he had "kisses and love yous for Lesley". Cam, who was already almost to his bed, waved his hand and said "You do it for me." Phil looked at me and said "I love you." And I said "I love you too Cameron" really really loudly, as if I were replying to Cameron. Later he said "You know, that wasn't just from Cam." And then said it for real, and I said it back. The rest of the story is not fit for the blog.

6. Who is taller?
He is. But, honestly, that's not saying much. We're short people.

7. Who sings better?
Gonna go with me on that one.

8. Who is smarter?
He is the one with 2 degrees, and has a wealth of knowledge about health and science, and lots of other stuff too. But...he can't remember what you tell him minutes after it's said and will do stuff like leave something the baby should not have within the baby's reach moments after he took it from the baby. Honestly, I think it's a toss up.

9. Whose temper is worse?
Oh, that's me. I get crazy mad sometimes. But when he gets angry, it's scary. It takes a lot to piss him off, so you know it's bad when he's angry.

19. Who does the laundry?
Me. But I only put away my clothes and Grace and Gabriel's clothes. I don't put away Phil's or Cameron's because apparently I do it "wrong" and don't comply with Phil's "system". Whatever.

11. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed?
Phil. I'm more in the middle, since the baby sleeps on my left side (he almost never stays in the crib, which is side-carred to the bed). Most nights there is a small girl between Phil and I. We need a bigger bed.

12. Who pays the bills?
Since he's the one with the income, him. The small amount of money I bring in usually goes to pay for my tuition and entertainment.

13. Who cooks dinner?
That depends really. On his days off, he'll take care of all the meals, unless I am in the mood to make something specific. On his work days, I do it all (making sure there are leftovers for him of course). Since he works 4 days on, 4 days off (when he's not picking up overtime) it's a pretty fair balance.

14. Who drives when you are together?
Usually it's me. Mostly because I only just got my license in November and I still really like driving. And I use the van more, so I think of it as mine, it sort of annoys me when he drives it (takes me forever to get the seat back to where I like it)

15. Who is more stubborn?
My initial thought was me...but not so. He's WAY more stubborn, although he would deny that.

16. Who kissed whom first?
He says it was me, but no. We were watching a movie on our first "date" and he was sitting behind me and kissed my cheek. Yes, I turned my head so I could kiss him back, but clearly the first move was made by him.

17. Who is the first to admit to being wrong?
Seeing as I am never wrong, it has to be him.

18. Whose parents do you see the most?
Mine. They live close by, whereas his mom is a two hour drive away.


19. Who proposed?
He did. Once I reminded him to. He presented me with my ring and roses for my birthday. He put the ring on me and then said "Uh, ya know...this present requires an answer..." to which I replied "Yes my love, but it requires a question first." He laughed and said "Oh yeah! Hey, will you marry me?"

20. What’s his best physical attribute?
He's strong...he can carry two children and all their gear up 3 flights of steps.

21. Who has more friends?
I think we're about even on that one, but I see my friends more often than he does.

22. What are you most proud of him for?
For balancing his work and us so that he is a great provider as well as being here and present for us.

23. Who has more siblings?
We each have two, so we're even on that. I have more extended family.

24. Who wears the pants in the family?
We share the pants. It can get crowded in the pants though.
